A 27-year-old man who was doubling as a grinding mill attendant and a herd man in Chivi was recently convicted of killing a rival suitor with a machete.
Talent Siziba was found guilty of killing Kwangware Marufu (38) when he appeared before Masvingo High Court Judge, Justice Esther Mawadze.
He is yet to be sentenced.
The court heard that on May 28 last year, Siziba, who was working in Chihombodo Village, Chivi, went to Mandamabwe Business Centre to see Evelyn Marisa (26).
Marisa is a bar attendant at Mabhiza Bar and also allegedly doubles as a sex worker.
Siziba arranged to meet with Marisa at her lodgings at around 0100hrs, but they could not have their privacy.
He returned to Mabhiza Bar the next day at around 1800hrs where he found Marufu dancing with Marisa.
Siziba fetched a machete and struck Marufu twice on the head.
He was arrested at his workplace on the same night.
