OVER-INDULGENCE in an illicit beer, popularly known in street lingo as kitoko, recently ended tragically after a Rusape man died following a binge.

Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Nobert Muzondo, confirmed the death of Kiven Makwindi of Diwauripo Village in Chief Tandi’s area.

He said the deceased and Taurai Makwindi went to drink kitoko brew at Esma Chivhanga’s residence.

He got drunk and started vomiting while lying on the ground.

Taurai discovered that Kiven had taken long while sleeping.

They tried waking him up and realised that he was dead.

No foul play is suspected.
