Division One side Harare City coach Herbert Maruwa has left the club to join Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side TelOne.
The former Dynamos trainer takes over from Tendai Chikuni, who was axed on Tuesday.
Jompano, as Maruwa is known in soccer circles, returns to the top flight after a good spell with Harare City, which saw the team going for several games without defeat in the lower league.
The gaffer was fired by Dynamos in August 2023.
After a lengthy job-hunting spell, Maruwa joined Harare City where he was tasked with helping the municipality side regain promotion to the topflight.
Prior to joining TelOne, Maruwa led the team to a seven-game unbeaten run of six victories and a draw.
His first task with the WIFI Boys will be on Saturday when they are scheduled to play against reigning champions, Ngezi Platinum Stars, at Baobab.
Maruwa will be hoping to turn the fortunes for the struggling side that sits in position 14 with 11 points.
TelOne has won twice, drawn five times and has four defeats in 11 outings.
