NEW: Mutasa gets Acting DDC

THE Ministry of Local Government and Public Works has appointed Mr Teddius Beto as the Acting District Development Coordinator for Mutasa.

 

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works Mr Zvinechimwe Churu confirmed the development.

 

Mr Beto was a principal administration officer in the Chipinge District Development Coordinator office’s before assuming his new role.

 

He is taking the place of Ms Caroline Mudawariwo who died last month while presiding over the swearing-in ceremony of councillors.

 

In a letter to Mr Beto dated September 23, Mr Zvinechimwe Churu wrote: “Please, be advised that you have been transferred to act as the District Development Coordinator for Mutasa District following the untimely death of Ms Caroline Mudawariwo with effect from date of assumption of duty,” reads part of the letter.
