ZIMBABWE international midfielder Marshall Munetsi’s rich vein of form continues after he netted one of the goals in Stade de Reims’ 2-0 victory over his compatriot Tino Kadewere’s Olympique Lyon in the French top-flight league on Sunday.

Playing on the right of a midfield three, the Warriors dynamo opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time to hand the Ligue 1 outfit the initiative.

This was the second time in as many weeks Munetsi – who is becoming a mainstay in the team – had a hand in goal involvement after he provided an assist in the previous game, a 2-1 win away at Lille.

To celebrate his exploits for Les Rouges et Blancs (The Red and Whites), the footballer usually takes to social media while sharing images and videos of himself in action.

“Great team effort, Stade de Reims. We keep going,” he wrote on his Facebook wall after their latest triumph.

With three wins as well as a single draw and a loss in the last five games, the team has risen into third position on the 18-team table.

Meanwhile, another Warriors striker Kadewere was a second half substitute for Olympique Lyon and could not turn around the game for his team in the loss to Munetsi-marshalled Stade de Reims.

Kadewere is back at the club following a fruitless loan spell at Real Mallorca in Spain.
