Speaking during a media engagement meeting to discuss the 2024-2025 summer cropping season plan on Friday, Professor Jiri emphasised the importance of collaboration between the media and stakeholders in agriculture to ensure timely and effective communication.

“Media plays a crucial role in informing farmers, influencing policymakers, and raising awareness among the general public on agricultural matters,” he said.
