NEW: Msebe named Bulawayo Chiefs’ player of the month

Online Reporter

IN-FORM Bulawayo Chiefs midfielder Mthokozisi Msebe has been named as the club’s player of the month for April.

The 23-year-old attacking linkman stole the show when Amakhosi stunned Dynamos 3-2 at the National Sports Stadium on April 23.

He scored one and provided two assists, as Dynamos succumbed to their first defeat of the season.

DeMbare also conceded for the first time this term in that match.

The player also gave a decent show when Bulawayo Chiefs edged Yadah 2-1 at Luveve Stadium last weekend.

Msebe and the ageless Danny “Deco” Phiri have been instrumental in Bulawayo Chiefs’ revival after a slow start to the 2023 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

The Ninjas have now picked up six points in their last two matches, and are now 11th on the log with nine points.
