THE second edition of the exciting Trust The Process (TTP) Under-18 football competition, which has earned the partnership of former Warriors striker, Nyasha Mushekwi will be held on Thursday at three venues across Dangamvura.

Dangamvura Beit Hall, Dangamvura High School and Dangamvura Primary School will be the three match venues of the annual tournament.

Faith Drive, Village FC, Moslems FC, Elite Academy, Hobhouse Academy, Masasi Academy, P Stars Juniors, East View Academy, and Checheche FC complete the list of teams partaking in the 2022 edition of the competition.

TTP clothing band is the main sponsor of the event, but this year China-based ex-Warriors forward, Mushekwi and Clubhouse International also poured in resources to ensure the successful staging of the football competition.

China-based TTP clothing band chief executive, Kudzanai Mbondo, who traces his upbringing to the dusty streets of the Two Rooms section of Dangamvura, said: “We are excited to announce the return of the TTP Under-18 tournament which will be held on Unity Day (December 22) in Dangamvura suburb.

“This is something that we do to promote local talent and hopefully scouts may also take advantage of the event to identify talent. The tournament is set to become something to look forward to every year as we grow in leaps and bounds.”

In the previous edition of the event, Elite Academy walked away with the winners’ prize, while P Stars Juniors were the runners-up.
