NEW: Mutasa DDC dies during swearing-in ceremony

ACTING Mutasa District Development Coordinator (DDC), Mrs Caroline Mudawariwo, collapsed and died during a swearing-in ceremony for the local authority councillors yesterday afternoon.

Acting Manicaland provincial director (Local Government Services and Administration), Mr John Misi, confirmed the sudden death of Mrs Mudawariwo.

“We can confirm the death of Mrs Mudawariwo who collapsed during the swearing-in ceremony of councillors at Mutasa Rural District Council boardroom yesterday. We heard she started complaining of a headache before she was rushed to hospital for medical attention. She was confirmed dead upon arrival,” said Mr Misi.
