THE revival of the National Youth Service is vital in promoting patriotism amongst the youth.

This was said by ZANU PF Midlands Youth League chairperson Cde Ernest Dzoro during a victory celebration rally in Shurugwi.

The programme was running under the theme “Celebrating ED Works, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and training towards attaining Vision 2030”.

“I challenge the leadership of National Youth Service graduates in Midlands province to start programmes that mobilise youths towards the 2028 harmonised elections,” he said.

Government is on course to re-introduce the National Youth Service in April this year.

The programme will be voluntary, with two intakes per year, each running for six months.
