NEW: Nearly one million take Covid-19 booster shot

Nearly one million ( 936 834) Zimbabweans have taken the Covid-19 booster shot as the vaccination blitz continues, latest figures show.

Data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care also shows that as at July 28, 2022, 6,3 million first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines had been administered.

Of that total 4, 7 million Zimbabweans have received their second dose.

The Ministry of Health and Child Care has come up with monthly vaccination targets for each province to ramp up vaccinations.
