NEW: Nightclub murder suspects granted bail

OWNER of a popular Dangamvura night club, Daniel Magaisa (37), together with two accomplices who allegedly fatally assaulted a patron at the weekend have been granted $70 000 bail each by a Mutare magistrate.

Magaisa popularly known as Dhunza, together with Kuda Chineuriri (29) and Blessing Makore(21), were charged with murder as defined in Section 47 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act, Chapter 9:23.

They appeared before Mutare magistrate, Mr Langton Carter who granted the accused persons the bail.

Mr Thurston Mubvumbi prosecuted.

Mr Mubvumbi said the three assaulted the now late Ashley Mbengani for allegedly stealing a cellphone in the night club.

The court heard that Mbengani’s body was found five meters away from Dhunza Night Club where the three had left it.
