THE National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) tomorrow following an increase in sport-related crimes.

Prosecutor-General Mr Kumbirai Hodzi and SRC chairperson Mr Gerald Mlotshwa will attend the event.

Recently, the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, and the SRC requested the NPA to look into the eight-year ban on former Zimbabwe cricket coach and captain Heath Streak.

Streak was banned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from all international cricket after he was found guilty of charges related to breaching the ICC’s anti-corruption regulations.
