NEW: Padenga sees improved gold sales

Online Reporter

PADENGA Holdings Limited’s gold sales in the nine-month period to September 2023 rose by 12,5 percent to 1 665 kg from 1 480 kg in the prior comparable period.

Padenga owns Eureka Gold Mine in Guruve (Mashonaland Central) and Pickstone Peerless Mine in Chegutu (Mashonaland West).

Management attributed the improvement in the group’s gold mining operations to higher ore processing at Eureka Mine, as well as the addition of a new mill at Pickstone Peerless Mine.

Padenga Holdings Limited company secretary Mr Andrew Lorimer said: “This was mainly due to a positive growth in plant throughput at Eureka Mine, achieved through optimisation, as well as the addition of a new mill at Pickstone Peerless Mine.”
