MC Kampton, an upcoming Afro-beat, dancehall and reggae artist, has teamed up with popular Zimdancehall musician, Poptain (born Ameen Jaleel Matanaga), to release a track titled “Sorry.”

“Sorry” is taken out of MC Kampton’s yet-to-be-released 12-track mixtape titled “Flextape.”

Born Hillary Mwedzi, MC Kampton said he produced “Sorry” to serve as a warning to Zimbabweans to behave responsibly during the festive season.

“This song serves as a reminder for Zimbabweans, especially the youths, to behave responsibly during the festive season.

“The song seeks to raise awareness on drug and substance use,” the youthful musician said.

Since its release, the song has been well-received, with over 25 000 views on YouTube within the past three days.

The song has also received a record 1 300 streams on online music platform, Spotify.

“Flextape,” which is set to be released in 2023, features collaborations with Anita Jaxson and Tamy Moyo among others.

MC Kampton also features on the Ignition Riddim, which was produced by Vibe Hub Records.
