NEW: President Mnangagwa arrives in Malawi

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has arrived in Blantyre, Malawi, for the inauguration of Malawi’s President-elect Peter Mutharika.

He was welcomed by Malawi’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Mwayiwawo Polepole and Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Malawi Dr Nancy Saungweme, among other officials.

The President is accompanied by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Professor Amon Murwira, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Martin Rushwaya and Deputy Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet (Presidential Communications) Mr George Charamba.
