NEW: PSL CEO Kenny Ndebele resigns

THE Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced the resignation of chief executive officer Mr Kennedy Ndebele effective January 24, 2025.

In a statement on Wednesday, PSL communications and media liaison officer Kudzai Bare expressed gratitude for Mr Ndebele’s “exceptional leadership and dedicated service”, which played a pivotal role in advancing the league’s growth and success.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Ndebele for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to the PSL,” reads the statement.

“His contributions were crucial in driving the league’s growth and achieving its success. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

To ensure continuity, Mr Rodwell Thabe has been appointed as Acting CEO. The PSL assured stakeholders of the league’s smooth operation during the transition period.

Further details regarding the recruitment of a permanent CEO are expected in due course.
