NEW: Reintroduce defensive driving courses

Online Reporter

THE Zimbabwe Union of Drivers and Conductors (ZUDAC) wants the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe to restart defensive driving courses, which were shelved due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The union’s president, Fraderick Maguramhinga, said the course plays an important role in reducing road accidents.

“There is an urgent need to reintroduce the defensive driving course. This course contributes to the reduction of road accidents. With or without Covid-19, road accidents will always happen,” he said.
