ZANU-PF youths in Manicaland have been implored to remain united as they continue defending the ruling party’s legacy.

Speaking while addressing Youth League leadership from Manicaland’s eight districts at Mutare Hall this afternoon, Zanu-PF youth league deputy national secretary Cde John Paradza urged the youth to remain focused on garnering five million votes for the revolutionary party in next year’s harmonised elections.

He said indiscipline and mischief among members is not condoned in the party and urged the youth to shun such behaviour.

“As youths we are obliged to defend the revolutionary party and make sure that we get the five million votes in the 2023elections. We endorsed President Mnangagwa as our candidate for the 2023 Presidential elections and as the youth league it should be our duty to make sure that he wins that election,” he said.

Cde Paradza urged party members to remain united.

“We implore all our members and leaders at every level of the youth league structures to respect the party constitution, embrace unity of purpose and shun petty, needless contradictions,” he said.

Cde Paradza said the party leadership should continue mobilising people to register to vote.

In an interview, Zanu-PF Manicaland provincial chairman Cde Mike Madiro said through the able leadership of President Mnangagwa, youths will not be left behind.

He said the party is working on countless empowerment projects for the youths.
