NEW: Seh Calaz thanks ‘considerate’ Chipaz

Online Reporter

ZIMDANCEHALL artiste Seh Calaz is grateful to music promoter Patson “Chipaz” Chimbodza for materially supporting him and many other musicians during the Covid-19-induced lockdowns.

Describing Chimbodza as a considerate man, Seh Calaz said the music promoter stood by him when some of his colleagues were seemingly avoiding him.

“It was during the Covid-19 lockdowns and I was down and out. Chipaz came forward and resurrected my career.

“He has single-handedly resuscitated the Zimdancehall genre, and for that we are all grateful,” he said.

On December 31, Calaz will launch a new album titled “Reggae Dzinorira” in the capital.

Chipaz Promotions has organised a musical gig as part of the album launch.
