In her remarks at the meeting on Thursday, Senator Chinomona said it was prudent that countries collaborate in view of the shifting balances being experienced across the globe.

“Promoting economic cooperation between Europe and the countries of the Mediterranean and the Gulf is a welcome initiative,” she said.

“It becomes more relevant during these trying times when the world is experiencing shifting balances in various fields, such as global peace, health and food.”
