NEW: Shake up at Turnall Holdings

Online Reporter

Building and construction materials manufacturer Turnall Holdings has announced the appointment of Mr Grenville Hampshire as the new board chairperson.

The appointment is with immediate effect.

Mr Hampshire reportedly has experience in running diverse materials and chemicals-based manufacturing operations in the United Kingdom, North America, Central America and Southern Africa.

Mr John Mkushi, who was the previous chair, stepped down to take up the position of acting managing director.

He is expected to hold that role for up to six months, after which a substantive managing director will be appointed.

The position of managing director fell vacant after Mr Zvidzayi Bikwa left “to pursue personal interests”.

Although Mr Bikwa’s contract was running up to April 30, 2023, the company said it gave him “leave of absence whilst serving his notice”.
