NEW: Smooth start to ‘O’ Level exams

THE 2022 Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (ZIMSEC) Ordinary Level examinations started smoothly yesterday across Manicaland Province without any hiccups, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has said.

Manicaland Provincial Education Director, Mr Edwards Shumba confirmed the development.

He said no school had reported any incident relating to the proceedings of the examinations.

“The ‘O’ Level exams have started and so far we have not received an adverse reports regarding their smooth flow. This is an indication that schools had prepared thoroughly and everything is going on well. We are looking forward to having the exams completed smoothly and successfully,” said Mr Shumba.

The final ‘O’ Level examinations saw candidates taking some of their practical subjects yesterday.
