NEW: Storm brewing at Ngezi Platinum Stars over administrator

Online Reporter

CASTLE Lager Premier Soccer League champions Ngezi Platinum Stars appear intent on replacing current administrator Andrew Javachava, as the Mhondoro-based side has since advertised a vacancy notice for the post.

“Ngezi Platinum Stars Football Club seeks to recruit a dynamic and experienced administrator.

“The successful candidate will oversee administrative and logistical functions, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient management of club operations,” reads part of the advert.

Javachava has been handling the club’ s administrative duties for years.

However, he has since been under fire for various charges, including abuse of club funds.

He was suspended, appeared before a disciplinary hearing and later resumed his duties without an official determination.

The club has also been running without a chairperson since December last year following the departure of Leonard Musariri under unclear circumstances.
