NEW: Zimbabwe Stock Exchange moves to boost initial public offerings

THE Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) has moved to boost listings on the local bourse by launching the prospective issuers training programme.

“As part of the strategic initiatives of the ZSE to promote listings, the prospective issuers training programme is a structured initiative designed to offer guidance, support and mentorship to potential issuers who are interested in accessing the capital markets through an initial public offering or other listing methods,” said the ZSE in a statement.

The bourse said applications for the programme will commence on February 9 and close on March 8, 2024.
