A SUSPECTED thief vanished with a pistol that had five rounds of ammunition and other valuables from a parked vehicle at Pamamonya Business Centre along the Harare-Bulawayo road on Monday.
The suspect also reportedly stole a silver chrome book laptop, 500 giga-bytes external hard drive and a black Samsung J5 cellphone, police said.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a case of theft, which occurred at Pamamonya Business Centre, along Harare-Bulawayo Road, on September 26, 2022 at around 6.45pm, where an unknown suspect broke the window of a parked Toyota Axio vehicle and stole a Browning 756 pistol with a magazine of five rounds.
“A silver chrome book laptop, 500 gigabytes external hard drive and a black Samsung J5 cellphone were also stolen,” reads the police statement.
