TENAX stuttered to another disappointing loss at home after going down to visiting Yadah in this afternoon’s Castle Lager Premiership match played at Sakubva Stadium.
The hosts were barely recognisable as the side that had won two and drawn one of their previous three matches as they never got going throughout the encounter.
Yadah exploited their opponents’ timid approach with two first-half goals from Cryrodge Denhere and captain Ralph Matema, before substitute Vincent Sango added the third in the 75th minute.
Tenax replied through Simon Munemero who headed home a Takunda Mapara corner-kick shortly after the restart.
Coach Shadreck Mugurasave conceded defeat, saying his boys did not rise to the occasion and the better team of the day won.
“We were not at our best today. I cannot blame the boys, but will encourage them to continue working hard to improve our game. The break over Easter holidays could have disturbed our rhythm, but we will bounce back stronger,” said Mugurasave.
His counterpart Genesis Mangombe hailed his charges for sticking to their game plan, which saw them stifling their opponents while creating their own chances which they managed to bury.
