CORRECTIONAL services outfit Tenax secured a timely morale booster when a local company, The Big Rock Logistics, handed over regalia and financial donation to the Mutare Castle Lager Premiership relegation threatened team.
Tenax, who recently did themselves a huge favour in their quest to evade relegation by dismissing Yadah Stars and Harare City, have been receiving financial assistance from well wishers and this week, The Big Rock Logistics chipped in to cushion the team in meeting some of the prohibitive costs of running a top-flight league club.
On Thursday, the Mutare company handed over warm up T-shirts and some money that will go towards covering costs to be incurred in their next fixture.
In a statement, The Big Rock Logistics said: “Our motivation as The Big Rock Logistics comes from our passion to support talent in our community and to see our community do well in all areas. We believe that the business community has a key role to play in upholding the vision of Tenax C.S and as a company, we must lead by example and we are inviting other local business people to come in and support the team.”
