NEW: UAE reiterates commitment to strengthen ties with African Union

The United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering strong cooperation with the African Union (AU).

During a recent meeting between Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), and the UAE Ambassador to Ethiopia Mohamed Salem Al-Rashedi, both sides discussed ways to expand their partnership. The talks, highlighted in an AU press release, focused on boosting UAE investments in critical African sectors.

As reported by Fana Media Corporation (FMC), a partner of TV BRICS, Youssouf emphasised the importance of UAE backing for AU-driven peace and stability efforts. In response, Ambassador Al-Rashedi confirmed the UAE’s ongoing support for the AU-UAE cooperation and extended an official invitation for the African Union’s Chairperson to visit the UAE. – tvbrics.com
