ZANU PF members in Mutare West constituency have been urged to uphold unity in the party ahead of the forthcoming harmonised elections.

Speaking during a Women’s League rally at Bambazonke Business Centre this afternoon, Secretary for Administration in the Women’s League – who is also Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa – called on party members to remain united and shun factionalism.

Senator Mutsvangwa implored ZANU PF members to burry their differences and put the party first by throwing their weight behind President Mnangagwa and the winning primary elections candidates to ensure a resounding victory.

“This is the right time to do away with grudges as they are a disadvantage to the party. Forgive each other and let the party come first. You should shun protest votes,” she said.

Senator Mutsvangwa urged the party’s candidate for Mutare West constituency Cde Nyasha Marange to engage traditional and religious leaders and promote unity.

Cde Marange expressed confidence that President Mnangagwa and ZANU PF will emerge victorious in the harmonised elections.
