NEW: Vice President Mohadi concludes Iran visit

VICE President Kembo Mohadi has concluded his three-day visit to Tehran, Iran where he attended the inauguration ceremony of President Masoud Pezeshkian.

While here, VP Mohadi who represented President Mnangagwa, also paid a courtesy call on the new Iranian leader and discussed numerous matters of mutual interest between the two nations.

He also attended a banquet following the inauguration of President Pezeshkian.

VP Mohadi and his delegation were seen off at the Mehrabad International Airport by Zimbabwe’s envoy to Iran, Ambassador Bright Kupemba; Iran ambassador to Zimbabwe Ambassador Abbas Navazani, and embassy staff.

Zimbabwe and Iran share strong diplomatic ties bound in their historical narratives, particularly in their resistance to Western influence and sanctions.
