NEW: Warriors begin camp

LOCAL-BASED national team players checked in for camp Thursday afternoon to mark the beginning of preparations for the African Cup of Nations finals.

Warriors manager, Wellington Mpandare, confirmed that all the local players are now in camp, plus four foreign-based players, Takudzwa Cimwemwe, Talbert Shumba, Ishmael Wadi and the unheralded Temptation Chiwunga who plays for JDR in South Africa.

France-based striker, Tino Kadewere, Jordan Zemura of Bournemouth, national team skipper, Knowledge Musona, Admiral Muskwe and David Moyo will fly straight to Yaounde.
