NEW: Warriors target joins Dutch side

Online Reporter

Warriors target Reiss Nelson has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a season-long loan move from struggling English side Arsenal.

The 21-year-old winger, who was born in London to a Zimbabwean father and an English mother, completed the move on deadline day Tuesday.

Nelson has been a target for Zimbabwe, who are desperate for the player to feature for the Warriors.

National team manager Wellington Mpandare has been in touch with the winger, who is eligible to play for Zimbabwe, having only featured for England’s youth teams.

According to the Daily Mail, Feyenoord turned quickly to Nelson after their initial target, Amad Diallo of Manchester United, suffered an injury.

The loan move to Feyenoord will be Nelson’s second temporary move after a previous stint at Hoffenheim of Germany.
