NEW West City take on city rivals Quelaton in the Zifa Southern Region Division One League match at Portuguese Grounds today.
New West City are yet to beat Quelaton this year after losing in two encounters, the first leg and Macheche Cup.
Abraham Muleya, New West City chairman   said the match was a must win encounter for  them as they want to use it as a morale booster  before facing high-flying Tsholotsho FC over the weekend.

“We have to win against Quelaton, they have won all the previous encounters but this time it is a must win, which can be a morale booster before we take on Tsholotsho in our next match over the weekend,” said Muleya

He said morale was high in their camp after back to back wins against coal mining town teams ZPC Hwange and Rufaro Rovers.
Bulawayo boys’ soccer team that represented the province at the just ended Zimbabwe National Youth Games had six Quelaton stars.
Quelaton are hoping to bounce back to  winning ways after playing to a 1-1 draw  against struggling Rufaro Rovers in their last league encounter.

Quelaton’s team director Tawanda Ruzive said they expect to bounce back to winning ways.
“We are not under pressure, we have won all  our encounters against them but we are not taking them lightly because they can disappoint us,” said Ruzive.

He said they were still eyeing a quick return to the top flight league and hope to collect maximum points.
“We want to continue the fighting spirit, we want to finish either on top or in top four,” he  said.

In other fixture today Zimbabwe Saints take on Hwange Juniors at Luveve Stadium.
Zimbabwe Saints will seek to recover from a 2-1 loss to Black Jumbos in their last league                                                                                                          encounter.

Their coach Mark Mathe was assistant to Agent Sawu in the technical bench for the Bulawayo Province Youth Games boys soccer team.
Meanwhile, in weekend fixtures championship favourites Bulawayo Chiefs were held to a 1-1 draw by Mpumalanga, a result that saw their lead at the top being reduced to six points by second placed Black Boots.

The police side posted a 2-1 win over Ajax Hotspurs.
