Pool tourney set for Joe’s Place

JOE’S Place will this weekend play host to a Bulawayo Pool Association (BPA) run Division One pool tournament.
Mpumelelo Phiri and Associates in conjunction with Joe’s Place are sponsoring the tournament. Winners will walk way with $300 while runners-up will pocket $200 with the third place team set to take home $150.
All Division One teams are encouraged to participate in this tournament and clubs are allowed to register as many teams as they can.
The participation fee is $30 per team.

Teams will play seven frames per game with three doubles and  four frames in singles.
BPA Publicity Secretary Donald Wadawu encouraged teams to register early.
All matches start at 2pm.

The BPA league action resumed after the just ended harmonised elections.
Championship favourites Entumbane picked up from where they left as they edged Xtreme 7-6 to open a six points lead on top of the log standings.

Entumbane who are now leading with 51 points, are followed by Kings who are on 45 points.
Kings beat struggling Fallstaff 7-6 over the weekend while Donnington won 9-4 against Golden Lion.
The match between Raylton and Mnethi was postponed.
