NEW: Woman arrested for dagga possession

POLICE in Karoi have arrested a 25-year-old woman for unlawful possession of dagga. 

In a statement on Wednesday, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the woman was arrested following a tip-off. 

“On August 30, 2022 ZRP Karoi swiftly acted on a tip-off and arrested Natty Jawi (25) for unlawful possession of dagga. 

“The suspect, who was aboard a Bulawayo-bound bus, was searched, leading to the recovery of 8, 64 kg of dagga in a sack stashed in a monarch bag,” said police.
