NEW: Women in leadership urged to uplift youths

WOMEN Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister Sithembiso Nyoni says women with leadership roles should help youths desist from drug abuse.

Addressing delegates at the Women in Project Leadership Summit on Thursday in Harare, Minister Nyoni said:

“Young people are in the second pandemic of drug and substance abuse, and really not engaging with useful social topics.

“We need to build a foundation for the young ones, so that they can be better leaders than us.

“But if we do not do that, we are breeding a generation that will lack values, integrity and strength.”
