BULAWAYO CHIEFS coach, Nilton Terroso, believes his charges can match inform Black Rhinos in terms of intensity, as the two sides prepare to meet in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Luveve on Sunday.
Black Rhinos are enjoying a purple patch under new coach Stanford “Stix” Mtizwa, who took over from Herbert Maruwa.
Mtizwa has been in charge of three matches, managing two wins and a draw.
Rhinos beat Cranborne Bullets and Chicken Inn, and also drew against defending champions, FC Platinum under Mtizwa.
Now, the army side will make the long trip to Bulawayo for a date against a stubborn Chiefs side.
Amakhosi on their part, have picked up four points in their last two encounters and are now on 33 points, five behind Black Rhinos.
However, Terroso is confident his side will not be pushovers come Sunday.
“It’s a difficult one against a team that is above us on the table, and a team that we failed to beat in the first leg,” predicts Terroso.
“In terms of physicality, in terms of intensity, I don’t think we have a problem.
“We are just going to play our normal game, and try to do our best.
“In training, we have done our best in trying to rectify what we did not do right.
“We are trying to constantly be innovative, constantly adapt and change.
“But we are starting to have a different pattern, different styles,” he said.
Bulawayo Chiefs are 10th on the log with 33 points, five behind Black Rhinos, who sit on seventh position.
