Online Reporter

The ruling party, ZANU PF, will hold its primary elections next week in preparation for harmonised elections to be held later this year, President Mnangagwa has said.

Addressing an ordinary session of the Politburo on Thursday, President Mnangagwa said the roadmap for the primaries would soon be announced by the party’s political commissar, Cde Mike Bimha.

“We as ZANU PF will begin internal primary elections from next week,” he said.

“Our commissar Dr Mike Bimha will give the programme.”

Preparations for the primaries, he said, should be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
