WARRIORS key player Jordan Zemura played his third consecutive match for AFC Bournemouth since his return from injury, as the Cherries walloped 10-man Cardiff 3-0 in a Championship match at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old left-back has become a crucial figure for the national team, which is already in Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals, which kick off on January 9.
Zemura, who can also play as left-winger, is expected to join the Warriors in Cameroon after the Cherries’ match against Peterborough on Monday.
AFC Bournemouth are now four points clear at the top of the English Championship table.
They moved to 49 points, four more than second-placed Fulham, who have two games in hand.
Zemura has now played three consecutive games in December since his recovery from an injury that kept him out in November.
He has 18 appearances for the Cherries, who appear set for a return to the English Premier League.
