ZIMBABWE’S Honorary Consul to Scotland, Ms Heather Mudhari, has founded a social enterprise, ZimScot, aimed at promoting the country as a safe tourism and trade destination.

ZimScot also offers a membership programme for the Zimbabwean community and friends, associated businesses, stakeholders and supporters.

“ZimScot … provides business links, networking support, platform and opportunities to Zimbabwean/Scottish-led enterprises between Scotland and Zimbabwe, professionals and those from Scotland wanting to visit or do business in Zimbabwe and those from Zimbabwe wanting to visit, study and do business in Scotland,” said Ms Mudhari.

The initiative supports the Zimbabwean community more broadly, including families, students, older people, men and women, to access products, services and projects that will enhance their lives and wellbeing such as easy access to up-to-date information, consular services and Zimbabwean delicacies.
