NEW: Zim records 61 suspected cholera cases

SIXTY-ONE suspected cases of cholera were recorded across the country on Tuesday, according to latest data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC).

“The cases were reported from Buhera (47), Chipinge (6), Bikita (3), Mutare City (2), Zaka (2) and Harare (1).

“Zimbabwe’s cumulative suspected cases had reached 4 569 cases with 4 367 recoveries and 30 deaths,” said the MOHCC in a statement on Tuesday.

Manicaland province has recorded the highest number of suspected cases since the beginning of the year, with 2 055, followed by Harare with 1 628.
