NEW: Zinara adjusts toll fees

Motorists driving light vehicles will from Wednesday pay $860 as tollgate fees, up from $700, while mini-buses will be charged $1 290 from $1 050, as new charges from the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) become effective.

Buses, heavy vehicles and haulage trucks will now pay $1 720, $2 150, and $4 300, respectively.

In a statement on Tuesday, Zinara said toll fees in foreign currency remain unchanged.
The residential discount per term has been reviewed upwards from $14 000 to $17 200.
