This year’s edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) is oversubscribed, with around 70 exhibitors having been turned away due to space constraints.

Addressing delegates at the International Business Conference in Bulawayo on Wednesday morning, ZITF board chairperson, Mr Busisa Moyo, said there was need to increase exhibition space as the Fair was getting bigger each year.

“This year we turned away 70 exhibitors due to space constraints. This is a sign that going into the future, we need to expand,” he said.

Mr Moyo said there were 624 exhibitors at the ZITF this year, with 26 countries participating.

There is a total of 159 new exhibitors.

This year, the ZITF is running under the theme ‘Innovations: The Catalyst to Industrialisation and Trade.’
