GeoPomona Waste Management executive chairperson and chief executive officer Dr Dilesh Nguwaya this morning met Madagascar President Andry Rajoleina at the Ambohitsirohitra Palace in Antananarivo.

The purpose of the meeting was to apprise the Malagasy President on Dr Nguwaya and his delegation’s visit to the island nation.

The tour, which started Thursday, saw the delegation meet several government ministers from energy and hydrocarbons; environment and sustainable development; water, sanitation and hygiene; and foreign affairs.

Geo Pomona Waste Management presented its plans to construct a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy plant in Pomona, Harare.

The tour comes after President Rajoleina’s attendance of the 44th SADC Summit, which saw him visiting the GeoPomona Waste-to-Energy Project, which he seeks to replicate in his own country.
