NGOMA HITS SIX GOALS AS HARD ROCK WIN 13-0

Sports Reporter

DONALD Ngoma scored HALF-A-DOZEN goals as Hard Rock FC powered to a 13-0 win over Gokwe North FC at Nembudziya Stadium yesterday.

The veteran forward, who first made a name for himself at FC Platinum before playing for a number of local sides, was the star of the show with his six-goal haul.

Hard Rock FC are in a tight battle with Sheasham for the sole ticket from the ZIFA Central Region Division One League into the Premiership.

The two Midlands sides have been battling neck-to-neck since the season opened and, at one stage, Sheasham – who won 1-0 yesterday appeared to be cruising to victory before their plane hit turbulence.

It opened a window of hope for Hard Rock and yesterday they appeared to have slipped into the mood to try and ensure they would win the race on goal difference if ever it comes to that.
