Nhikitiki declared liberation hero

President Mnangagwa has declared Cde Gift Nhikitiki a liberation hero.

Cde Nhikitiki died in Johannesburg, South Africa, on July 4.

According to communication from Zanu-PF secretary for Administration Cde Obert Mpofu, Cde Nhikitiki will be buried in Chimanimani.

Cde Mpofu, however, did not say when Cde Nhikitiki would be  buried.

“His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of Zanu-PF, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa, has conferred a liberation hero status to the late Cde Gift Nhikitiki, who died in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 4 July 2018 and will be buried in Chimanimani,” said Cde Mpofu.
