Nichole claims fireworks crown

Entertainment Reporter
Beautiful Nichole Phiri was crowned Miss Fireworks 2013 at a beauty pageant held at Cape to Cairo Nightclub in Bulawayo on Saturday night.  She beat seven other models at the colourful event at which comedian, Clive Chigubu, was a last-minute pick for a role as master of ceremonies after the original choice failed to turn up.
The jester was in top form, cracking jokes despite the fact that he was only an afterthought!

Adolate Maseko and Fikile Ncube were crowned first princess and second princess respectively.
The competition began soon after a spectacular fireworks display held at ZITF Grounds, which was attended by dozens of youngsters.
Models showed off great techniques walking on the ramp and fans notably liked the swim wear as they swamped the stage when the girls came out for that category.

DJ Iyobaness also kept fans entertained dishing out hit songs Waya Waya and Ita Seunononga which the audience liked most.
To add to the fun of the day, models were asked to dance to Ita Seunononga in their swim wear.
After the competition, patrons took the opportunity to showcase their own modelling talent.
