Nigerian airport power outages rile passengers

The Abuja setback was much to the displeasure of passengers. A Lagos-bound passenger, Emeka Oluah, urged government to act as the problem was becoming an embarrassment.

“This is a big embarrassment for this country. You certainly cannot see this kind of thing happening elsewhere. Government keeps saying they are turning things around for good at the airport.

“This has clearly shown that nothing or little is being done. I think it is high time people should begin to sue the relevant authorities for this kind of thing,” he said.
Another passenger, Fatai Olori, threatened  to sue the relevant authorities after he missed an appointment.

“I was supposed to anchor an event on Sunday afternoon in Lagos but I could not do that because of the flight delay.

“By the time I finally got to Lagos, the event was over and I had to return this morning to Abuja. I will definitely sue the airport authority for this,” he said.

Aviation Minister Stella Oduah has repeatedly assured the public government was addressing the matter. – CAJ News.
