A NIGHT club bouncer is facing difficult times for allegedly punching a client and stealing his cellphone. It is said Nyasha Moyo (27) from Lobengula West suburb in Bulawayo was involved in an argument with Akim Moyo and the situation got out of hand.

The court heard tempers flared as Moyo pushed and shoved Nyasha before he landed blows on him and within a few minutes Nyasha had tumbled to the ground spitting blood.

It is said Moyo did not stop at that as he allegedly stole Nyasha’s cellphone. The matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of Moyo.

Moyo appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube facing a robbery charge. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was advised that he could either be a self-actor or enlist the services of a lawyer at his own cost.

He was remanded in custody to 6 December for commencement of trial.
